September News!!!!
As ever, this month is going to be jam packed with improvements, plans and hard work to make sure the club is the best it can be!
In September we will see:
• The up and running of the all singing and dancing air conditioning system on the cardio floor
• The fabulous new group exercise timetable will start on w/c 20 September. The Goal is to add another 30 classes per month taking the monthly numbers to over 570 classes!
• We will receive delivery of £60k worth of new treadmills, bikes & cross trainers for the ladies only zone on w/c 27th September. The specification of the new machines are very high with TV viewing and interactive courses available.
• We will also be receiving delivery of a fabulous new versa climber, 4 new high specification Olympic lifting bars and also extra new barbells.
The proposed 1.5 million pounds mill extension plans are steaming ahead. Further interesting developments include:
• Narrowing down the interested building contractors to 5 possibilities.
• The whole of the rear of the build will be the Fire & Ice Spa and access to the 25 metre swimming pool. After having various meetings with the suppliers the plans are starting to come together and look very impressive. They include an Ice Igloo, a new extra super-sized sauna, an ice plunge pool , 4 new monsoon showers, a dry relaxation area and 10 more heated loungers.
• Both the male & female changing rooms are planned to be extended. A decision has been made to include an individual sauna in each changing room!
I have no further news on the planning application at present.
