I am starting to pinch myself that it really is only days/weeks away from the finish date of the 2-million-pound mill extension…. Many of you have given us some amazing feedback on the completed areas of the new sports performance centre, ladies only zone and awesome new ladies changing area but I honestly believe when you all see the new 22 metre pool and the new fire & ice spa extension it will give you all a massive wow factor. The interior designer has come up trumps with the speciality light ceiling, choice of tiles and real brick areas, it just looks simply stunning!!!
The building contractors are working 24 hours a day and the expected handover day is 15th December… I am sure none of you will mind if myself and family have 4 days in the pool our self before the grand opening on 19th December 
I would like to answer some daily questions i receive in bulk.
• The swimming pool and fire & ice spa will be open 7 days a week from 5am-11pm
• The pool is 22 metre in length, the width is 8 metre and the depth is 1.2metre
• As we are creating a spa relaxation atmosphere so there are no children, lessons or group exercise classes in the pool area.
• There will be lifeguards present always.
• There will 4 lanes available always with a mixture of recommended speeds for each lane
• Th swimming pool is set at a temperature of 30 degrees and the additional Hydrotherapy pool is set to 36 degrees
• The Fire & Ice Spa extension will include an additional supersized sauna, rose scented steam room, ice igloo and 3 monsoon showers. There are also an additional 5 heated loungers along with 12 relaxing and comfortable sun loungers.
• The current fire & ice spa will still be available and will be upgraded in look to match the new areas. To allow this area to be refurbed and connected to the new fire & ice spa area this will close at 10.30pm on Sunday 4th December and reopen on Monday 19th December. A small loss for a very, very big gain!
• I CAN GURANTEE THAT DESPITE ALL THE EXTRA FACILITIES THERE WILL BE NO PRICE INCREASE FOR EXISTING MEMBERS FROM THE £12.99 SILVER OR £17.50 PER MONTH GOLD OPTION
• The silver membership will remain gym only AND WILL NOT INCLUDE SWIMMING POOL ACCESS!!!!
• The clubs 24-hour opening will be increased to 7 days a week.
This coming month the refurbished male changing room will be complete and new flooring, lighting and ceilings will be installed in the cardio, static resistance and advanced trainer areas!
The awesome new studio 2 (Formally crunch studio) is all set to open on Saturday 3rd December. The additional equipment which is made up of traditional and functional studio pieces will arrive on WC 5th December. I am now busy speaking to all the instructors with the goal of smashing the 700 classes per month barrier for the new timetable in January!!!!!
