This coming Monday 19th at 4pm we will be delighted and excited to open our awesome new swimming pool and Fire & Ice Spa facility… I think when you all seen you will be blown away with the design and colours. The architect, interior designer and the spa contractors really have done us proud…
As I am writing this now at 1pm Friday the pool is taking longer to fill that I was advised which is also affecting the heating of the water. Swimming Pool- The main attraction!
Our world class 22 metre swimming pool is 1.2metres deep and boasts four training lanes. Being the heart of our Fire & Ice Spa a much needed relaxing atmosphere is created with our heated loungers to sit and spectate or simply just unwind.
Hydrotherapy Pool-
With not just one but two hydrotherapy pools, you can relax and enjoy the benefits of each station situated in different areas of the pools. The heat from the water instantly helps relieve tired muscles and by working around each station the major muscle groups within the body will be stimulated providing the equivalent of a full body massage.
Steam room-
A full aromatic steam-room with a strong eucalyptus vapour designed to revitalise the body and the mind. The heat from the benches and floor combined with 100% humidity creates the perfect environment to cleanse the impurities of the skin.
Salt inhalation-
A salt vapour experience. Imagine the same effects as a walk along the coast, breathing ozone rich salty sea air… Salt vapour produces negative ions, the perfect antidote to working at a computer screen, which generates positive ions and can induce headaches, migraines and feeling of lethargy. Use salt inhalation to feel invigorated and uplifted.
Monsoon shower-
Prepare your body in one of our four Monsoon showers before entering any of the therapy rooms, there are two experiences. Choose either the tropical experience which is a combination of large warm water droplets and tropical mood lighting or the ice drench experience which is made up of an intense injection of tiny freezing droplets shadowed by a mixture of mood lighting.
Heated loungers-
The heated loungers are situated in areas of the spa for ultimate relaxation. Enjoy the heat soothing any tired muscles whilst drifting away to the spa music.
Heated foot spas-
The perfect way to soak away the stresses of the day. Sit back on the heated bench whilst bathing your feet in our massage bowls- relax and let the heat and jets stimulate your circulatory system.
Sauna-
We have two saunas situated in Fire & Ice Spa. The sauna is the warmest of the therapies within the spa at around 100 degrees. The heat promotes the exfoliation of impurities from the pores through perspiration. This improves the natural toning of the tissue and enhances the feeling of purity.
Saunarium-
A mixture of dry heat and light humidity improves the circulatory system and eases respiratory difficulty.
Shower grotto-
Here’s your very own Ice Bucket Challenge! Brace yourself, pull the chain and wake up your entire system!
Aromatherapy room-
A mild heated room with aromatherapy scents of steam make up of essential oils to promote your health, mood and well-being. Sit back and relax on the heated benches to enhance your experience further.
The ice fountain-
You’ll find ice flakes falling into a sculptured bowl, it is a perfect after thermal experience. Exfoliate your body with the cold ice and enjoy a wonderful stimulating tingling on your skin. This increases your blood circulation and strengthens your immune system at the same time.
Rose scented steam room-
In our Rose infused Steam Room essential oils are used to gently uplift the mind and create a calm atmosphere. Rose has many health benefits whilst helping to remove toxin build up from the body.
Ice igloo-
Step into our Ice Igloo and step out feeling completely re-energised! Take your cooling down experience to a new level with chilled ice available to apply all over the body. This stimulates the sensory nerve endings leaving you feeling uplifted and invigorated.
