New Equipment Arriving… Notice of Disruption.. £500k Loft Expansion Update.. Offers…
As ever this month will be no different with our aggressive improvements programme as we strive to be the best we can be! This month we will see:
• The 8 new Hammer Strength HD Elite Squat Racks and Matching Olympic Lifting Platforms will be installed in the already fabulous sports performance centre on Monday 9th & Tuesday 10th April!… It does mean however there will be no squat racks or lifting area on these two days… A small loss for a massive gain!!
• The male changing area floor is all set to be replaced overnight on Saturday 21st April.
• This month will see us add three more private changing cubicles, two more benches while also improving our disabled facilities in the ladies changing room.
• The spin dryers in each changing room for swimwear will be installed.
• We are waiting for the local authority feed back on us taking one of the front windows out to create an additional entrance to reception to create easier access. I hope to have this installed this month.
• The architect is currently drawing up plans to create a 3-floor extension between the main building and the day spa area. The new space will be used for 7 additional double treatment rooms and a new dry relaxation area. We are confident of a positive outcome of this and it is planned that then building work will start in September. (PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO NOISE OR DISRUPTION TO SPA GUESTS DURING THE WORK). If as expected, we get the go ahead it will give us further space to add two additional steam rooms in the Fire & Ice Spa.

I am delighted to announce we have received back the structural engineers report, on our project to expand the club into the roof space and its come back a with a big green light!…. There are still many hoops to jump through with the local authorities however, I am confident of a positive outcome.. The £500k budget will be used for an additional 80 pieces of fitness equipment and to create a new and additional group exercise studio.
