As ever we are making fabulous progress on our ongoing improvements programme after receiving a delivery of the £250k worth of new equipment from Life Fitness & Hammer Strength… The feedback so far has been amazing on the features available on the treadmills, bikes, cross trainers and the stair climbers. We have also added some useful additions from Life Fitness/Hammer Strength with 4 cable machines, a new MTS Leg Ext & Leg Curl and a Plate Loaded Tricep Dip in the static resistance and advanced trainer areas.

HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY CLIFFORD HEALTH CLUBS!!!
This coming 15Th June will be 11 years since I brought the New Wave Fitness Centre… I still pinch myself daily on what has happened over this time as the very loyal members that are still with us today will remember we started off with just one floor of the mill with 50 pieces of equipment, 8 classes per week a rickety old sauna and two members of staff and the membership was £29 per month… Somehow now the membership is at least £10 a month cheaper even though we now have:
· Approx. 60 thousand sqft
· Over 700 pieces of equipment
· Over 900 Live classes per month
· Hot Yoga & The amazing Immersive Trip class
· A 22-metre swimming pool, 4 saunas, 4 steam rooms, 2 Hydrotherapy pools, heated loungers and speciality showers
· 120 staff/team members
The last eleven years have been a success mainly down to some very hard working and loyal staff, incredibly loyal members and a very high percentage of returning spa guests… THANK YOU ALL!
OUR ONGOING IMPROVEMNTS PROGRAMME UPDATES
As ever I am determined to continue our ongoing and aggressive improvements programme and keep our unbelievable pricing structures…. I was hoping to officially announce a plan to extend either by approx. 8000sqft however the paperwork has not been signed in time as I write this newsletter. The extra space will be to create at least 24 new treatment rooms, a new day spa café and a whole new dry relaxation area for our spa guests… This will also give us the space for a member only café. (If for whatever reason the deal doesn’t happen then the pool side café will still go ahead) ITS GOING TO BE FABULOUS!!
I can confirm I am still waiting for updates from relevant authorities and contractors for updates on:
· The plan to extend into the roof space of the mill which will include an additional group exercise studio and space for an extra 80 pieces of equipment. The budget is £500k for this project.
· The completion in the ladies changing room of the accessible toilet and shower and the installation of the seats in the new private changing cubicles
· The installation of the Herbal Infusion steam room in the Fire & Ice Spa
· The installation of the spin swimsuit dryers in the changing rooms
· A 2nd accessible entrance into the building
The awesome new super broadband will now be ready to be used on Friday 8th June… At this point the full forces of the data on the awesome new cardio machines will be ready for use!
