FEBRUARY NEWS!! £2.5 Million Improvements Updates and Dates ! Fire & Ice Spa Refurbishment July ! Offers… Feedback!
As on previous newsletters we can still continue with our ongoing £2.5 million improvements in these tough financial times due to our incredibly loyal members and high percentage of returning spa guests. THANK YOU ALL.
As with almost everything at the moment we have seen a delay on our delivery of material so we have now outlined the new timetable as below :
· The refurbishment of the male changing rooms
· The redesign of reception to allow for a smoother access for both members and spa guests.. This will include swapping the easily passed around member pin numbers/cards and replaced with a RFID entry system which is backed up with photo ID.
* Two more of our popular Heated Lounges will be installed in the Rainforest Spa
· New flower/plant feature walls in the HOT YOGA Studio.
· An installation of a sauna inside the ladies changing room to take our total to a fabulous 22 sauna/steam rooms
March:
· The refurbishment of the advanced trainer area including new rubber flooring throughout, a new feature ceiling/lighting and also creating further natural light.
June
· The refurbishment of the static resistance area including £150k of new Hammer Strength equipment along with new flooring and décor.
July
· FIRE & ICE SPA REFURBISHMENT including :
* New additional feature walls
* 5 additional foot-spas
* Retiling and new drainage installed
* Feature ceilings added
* Refurbishment of selected sauna & steam rooms
Please note to allow for this work to be completed safely the spa , pools and the day spa will close 9pm Sunday 9th July and Reopen 7am Saturday 22nd July … A VERY SMALL LOSS FOR A VERY BIG GAIN !
October
· A Total refurbishment of the ladies changing room with a budget of £300K… The interior designer is now working on the designs with the instruction to create a high-end look… Of course, I will be sharing these plans/images with you once I receive.
I am now 90% sure that we will be creating a further 6000 sqft of spa space that will include an addition 18 person Hydrotherapy pool . 4 more sauna/steam rooms, 18 heated loungers, and also 15 more treatment rooms. The architect is now drawing up the plans
