1.5 Million Pound Extension Update
Now the planners have given us the green light to get started on the mill extension decisions and orders are now being made thick and fast including:
- The fire & ice spa extension will now include a rainforest themed chill out room, an additional scented steam room and further themed treatment rooms including rasul therapies.
- The 7m by 4m splash pool that sits adjacent to the 22 meter swimming pool will also have powerful massage jets for back and shoulders
- The female changing area will have 18 showers and 6 toilets with the males having 16 showers and additional urinals… Each changing room will also have over 200 large lockers, sufficient private changing facilities and the whole area will be designed at the highest specification.
- The new sports performance centre will be 7 times bigger than the current facility and will include: … *10 squat racks with the lifting platforms built in and we will only use top of the range Elieko bar and plates….*20 Pieces of loaded leg machines from Hammer Strength…….* There will be 3 tracks for using x2 prowlers, farmers walks, boulders, big tyres and also for use of the bleep fitness test… *There will be 4 punch bags, TRX cable and also the multi-functional climbing frame rig…
- There will be an additional 40 pieces of fat burning equipment in the ladies only zone.
- We are now putting together the application to the Highways agency to drop the curb from one end of the building to the other to create 45 slanted parking spaces (remember the council car park is now working very well with its free time and cash back)
