£250k is now the £300k investment!!…. Schedule of Works Notice and Small Disruptions!!… Offers!!!
I am pleased to announce that due to our incredibly loyal membership base and our high number of spa guests, I have been able to increase our end of year improvements budget from £250k to a magnificent £300k and the purchase of 35 sparkling top of the range spin bikes from Life Fitness!
After many meetings and discussions, I am pleased to announce the following programmes of works and notice of possible disruption:
· 1st -5th November… Completion of the installation of the new ceiling and lighting on the cardio floor
· 5Th November… Delivery of 20 new and additional kettle bells for studio 2
· 9th – 23rd November… The current spin studio will be totally gutted and extended in preparation for the installation of the awesome Les Mills Trip screen and class. The spin studio will become 20% bigger, the new 10m by 3 interactive screen frame will be built, all the walls will be boarded and decorated, a whole new ceiling will be installed, the new feature lighting will all be fitted, a stage will be built for all the 35 bikes and also the air conditioning capacity will be increased by 33%… PLEASE NOTE UNFORTUNATELY DURING THIS TIME THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES RUNNING FOR THE TWO WEEK PERIOD IN THE SPIN STUDIO
· 9Th -23rd November… The Hot Yoga/Multi use studio will be extended to create space for an addition 6 places in each class. We will use the two week period to board and redecorate the whole room and apply extra boarding for more efficient heat retention. PLEASE NOTE UNFORTUNATELY DURING THIS TIME THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES RUNNING FOR THE TWO WEEK PERIOD IN THIS STUDIO
· 23rd November-30th November… The remainder of the top floor will be refurbished including new ceiling and lighting, redecorated and a new flooring will be fitted. An additional 20 lockers will also be delivered.
· 1st – 23rd December… The original Fire & Ice Spa is set to receive a total make over with all areas retiled and feature walls and lighting added. Please note the hydrotherapy pool in this area ( the smaller one of the two) will be closed during this time to allow for retiling..
· 1st -23rd December… We will enhance our Fire & Ice Spa experience further by adding a 18 person Finnish sauna, a Crystal steam room, 3 speciality monsoon showers with tropical and steam effect, 6 more foot spas, another heated lounger and also 14 purpose built seats around the pool area.
· 1st _ 23rd December… With all the anticipated water usage with the extra monsoon showers we will be additional 6000 litre of storage water facilities
· 1s -0t 23rd December. Building of the pool side café area.
· 1st -23rd December .. The installation of the Les mills immersive system its simply fabulous and can be viewed https://www.lesmills.com/uk/workouts/group-fitness/the-trip/
· 1st -23rd December…. The day spa café and reception area will receive a total refurbishment to create a modern and efficient environment. All of the treatment rooms will also be refurbished
· Week commencing 18th December we will receive delivery of additional fitness equipment from Life fitness/Hammer Strength including:

PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING DECEMBER THERE WILL BE NO DISRUPTION IN THE POOL AREA AND THERE WILL BE MINIMALM DISRUPTION IN THE FIRE AND ICE SPA AS THE MAJORITY OF THE WORK WILL BE AT NIGHT… THERE WILL ALSO BE NO FURTHER DISRUPTION TO SPIN CLASSES DURING DECEMBER..
