HAPPY NEW YEAR!
2019 will be no different from the last 12 years as we will continue to work incredibly hard to create something very special indeed. I am personally elated how phase one of the £2 million improvements budget has gone and I hope you all enjoy the new facilities we are offering and plan to offer!
I can guarantee that there will be no price increase for existing members and we will be keeping our unbelievable price spa offers in place despite all the extra offerings.
£2 MILLION IMPROVEMENTS PHASE ONE NOW COMPLETE
I am delighted to announce that we have now completed phase one of our exciting and ambitious £2 million improvements programme…
To our already fabulous Fire & Ice Spa we have now added:
• A Herbal Infusion Steam room
• A Hot Box Sauna
• 4 Additional Foot Spas
• Additional Heated Loungers
After receiving valuable feedback over the last year, we have now also added:
• A fabulous new café with speciality ceiling and a feature waterfall to create an ambience (to allow for staff training the new café area will open on Monday 14th January)
• A dry relaxation area in the day spa. “Somewhere just to relax and read a book”
• An additional 7 treatment rooms to increase availability while also refurbishing the current treatment rooms
PHASE 2 TO BEGIN!
As previously announced, we are looking to install a whole new floor located in the loft space of the mill… This ambitious plan with a £500k budget will allow us to install an additional 80 pieces of fitness equipment and an additional group exercise studio…
As ever there are many hoops to jump through with the local authorities but I feel we have strong case for a positive outcome… The works are scheduled to begin in the summer and be complete in January 2020…
On a separate note many of you are aware we have already started work on extending the male changing rooms. The completion date is in March.
AWESOME NEW TIMETABLE TO BEGIN.
I am currently finalising the much-anticipated new timetable that is all set to start on Monday 14th January … I can confirm that we will smash the 900 classes per month barrier with our traditional favourites of Boxercise, Zumba, Pilates, Lets Ride, Yoga and our much-loved Hot Pilates & Yoga. We are course continuing with our premium partnership a with Les Mills with choices such as Body Pump, Body Balance, BARRE, the GRIT Series and the amazing TRIP class through the immersive 15m by 4m screen!
AND YES, ALL THE CLASSES ARE INCLUDED IN OUR UNBELIEVABLY PRICED GOLD MEMBERSHIP!
NEW EQUIPMENT!
We will continue to be the best we can be this year in terms of adding additional equipment to our current 700 pieces throughout the building whenever we can.
Over the coming weeks we will see a Plate Loaded Hip Thrust, Air bike and Wooden Plyometric Boxes arrive in our Sports performance centre along with adding additional cable attachments in the static resistance and ladies only zone.
I am also pleased to announce that I am currently negotiating with 2 leading suppliers on replacing the equipment in the ladies only zone with a £200k budget… The target date for this upgrade is in June.
NEW CAFÉ OPENING
I am delighted to announce that much anticipated café area will open on the 14th January… The 15m by 3m waterfall, themed ceiling and the whole look that the interior designer has come up has just made it fabulous…
The café area will be open from 7am-8pm 7 days a week and will be serving a healthy menu, coffee & juices and has a separate area for spa guests to enjoy the afternoon teas… Club members will have access to the café while using the Fire & Ice Spa facilities only.
