ADVANCED TRAINER REFURBISHMENT
As part of our ongoing £2.5 million improvements programme a new rubber flooring will be installed throughout the Advanced Training Area from the TUESDAY 11TH April until FRIDAY 15th April.
This does mean large amounts of equipment will be out of use between these dates in this area ……… My advice would be to plan to use the static resistance and sports performance area between those dates!
As part of the improvements for this area we will be:
* New decor and layout
* A new set of dumbbells from 2-50kg
* 6 new Hammer Strength free weight benches
(ON A SEPARATE NOTE, 2 NEW STAIR CLIMBERS WILL BE INSTALLED ON THE CARDIO FLOOR BY TUESDAY 11TH APRIL)
MALE CHANGING ROOMS
Over the next 3 weeks the new floor will be installed as part of the refurbishment of this area… It anticipated that 25% of the changing area at any one time will be out of use.
Please note that the shower areas in the males will be refurbished during the July Fire & Ice spa closure for a major refurbishment.
RECEPTION!
Starting on Monday 3rd April we will be redesigning the reception to allow for a smoother access for both members and spa guests.
This will include swapping the easily passed around member pin numbers/cards and replaced with a RFID entry system which is backed up with photo ID.
PLEASE NOTE THAT FROM MONDAY 17th APRIL THERE WILL BE NO ACCESS USING MEMBERSHIP CARDS OR PIN NUMBERS….. Only the RFID fobs can be used to access the club!!!!
It is expected that from the 10th & 17thApril it will take longer to access the club as we distribute the new RFID to paying members…
FIRE & ICE SPA REFURBISHMENT including:
* New additional feature walls
* 5 additional foot-spas
* Retiling and new drainage installed
* Feature ceilings added
* Refurbishment of selected sauna & steam rooms
Please note to allow for this work to be completed safely the spa, pools and the day spa will close 9pm Sunday 9th July and Reopen 7am Saturday 22nd July …
£2.5 MILLION UPDATES!
As on previous newsletters we can continue with our ongoing £2.5 million improvements in these tough financial times due to our incredibly loyal members and high percentage of returning spa guests. THANK YOU ALL.
As with almost everything at the moment we have seen a delay on our delivery of material so we have now outlined the new timetable as below:
MAY
· New flower/plant feature walls in the HOT YOGA Studio.
JULY
· FIRE & ICE SPA REFURBISHMENT AS ABOVE

OCTOBER
· A Total refurbishment of the ladies changing room with a budget of £300K… The interior designer is now working on the designs with the instruction to create a high-end look… Of course, I will be sharing these plans/images with you once I receive.
OTHER PLANS!!!
I am now 99% sure that we will be creating a further 6000 sqft of spa space that will include an addition 18-person Hydrotherapy pool. 4 more sauna/steam rooms, 18 heated loungers, and 15 more treatment rooms. The architect is now drawing up the plans.
